Grafeneck near Reutlingen in southern Germany was the location where the first methodical killings of people in the Third Reich happened. From January till December 1940 10.654 mentally ill people were killed in gas chambers.
A group of 25 students at the Stuttgart Media University produced a total of five documentary films about Grafeneck during Winter 2008/2009. The films shed light upon the different aspects of the euthanasia crimes.
